Sterling (Sam) McClung, 67, passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2021 at Robert Packer Hospital.
Born July 29th, 1953 in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Ruby and Laffey McClung. He and his wife Carol McClung would have celebrated 35 years of marriage on January 25th, 2021.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are a daughter, Lori A. (Tim) Higley of Dushore; two grandchildren, Tyler A. Higley of East Earl, PA and Miguel D. Rodriguez of Bloomsburg, PA.
He is also survived by 3 sisters, Linda (Bill) Machin of Highland Village, Tx; Coralle Burge of Manassas Park, Va; and Beverly (Robert) Smith of Clifton Forge, VA; one brother, Stanley (Collette) McClung of Seminole, FL as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
