Scott Schulz

Scott Edward Schulz, 67, of Ephrata, PA, passed away on March 13, 2025, at Reading Hospital, surrounded by his three children. Born on March 4, 1958, in Lancaster, he was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1975, and earned a degree in Business Administration.

Scott had a deep curiosity for the world around him, collecting all sorts of items and mastering many skills throughout his lifetime. He loved learning and staying busy, which led him to work in various fields, including bartending, computer technology, and auto parts. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing bass guitar. Some of his fondest memories included watching WWE with his boys, customizing his rides, taking ferry rides, relaxing at the beach, and creating homemade Halloween costumes. He loved spending time fishing and was always eager to enjoy anything outdoors. His charismatic and kind nature endeared him to many, and his friendships were a testament to the warmth and generosity he shared with others.

He is survived by his three children, Richard Schulz, Stephan Schulz, and Sonja Eckert (Schulz), his stepdaughter, Emily Bencak, as well as his two older sisters, Darlene Schulz Hehnly and Sandra McKinsey Marks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Janet Schulz, and his baby brother, Richard.
