Rosanna M. “Rose” (Fasnacht) Tully, 65, wife of Shawn Tully, of 28 years of Middletown, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Born on March 6, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Sallie R. (Lanzino) Fasnacht of Steelton. Rosanna was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1973. She was in FBLA; FSA and Yearbook Staff. Rose continued her friendship with many classmates. She enjoyed gathering donations for the Class Reunions throughout the years. Keeping her yearbook up to date on the changes over time. Formerly employed by AAMCO Transmissions. Rose was known as a great telecommunicator within the realm of her family and friends. Former member of Enhaut/Swatara Church of God and First Church of God of Middletown. Over the years, Rose enjoyed attending family reunions and took part in the board games and the singing when the songs started. She enjoyed Shawn serenading her when they shared their time together over 28 years. Rose enjoyed clipping coupons and sending Shawn off to the grocery store with a list and a handful of discounts. He will miss using coupons when he goes shopping and we all will miss our daily phone calls. Rose kept everyone in the loop and shared the events in everyone’s lives. Over the years, she traveled on numerous cruises to the Caribbean with Shawn and her family. Everywhere Rosanna went she would learn the name of her waitress or the person cleaning her cabin. When she met a fellow passenger, they became a friend for life. She brought that friendliness to her daily life too. She always remembered who served her and would show appreciation. Rose lived her life trying to make others’ lives easier. She would assist where needed and if research or a phone was needed she would be able to make the contact. Rose will be remembered for cutting out inspirational quotes from magazines and using them to brighten everyone’s day. Her family would like to thank Frey Village staff for assisting her in her last 3 weeks of her life. Rose shared that “everyone was kind to her while she needed assistance”. Her most recent quote was “until we meet again, Goodbyes are not forever, GOODBYES are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again”. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Fannie Aungst of Middletown. In addition to her husband she is survived by her step-daughter, Jamie and grandchildren, Raina and Larry. Her siblings, twin-brother, John (Marsha) Fasnacht of Marysville; Blaine (late Debra) Fasnacht of Harrisburg; Michael Fasnacht of Middletown; Patrick (Cherrie) Fasnacht of Harrisburg; Susan (late Douglas) Kandler of Morgantown, PA and Linda (Frank) Chesney of Douglassville. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces/nephews whom she treated as her own. She had Aunts, Uncles, cousins and special friends with whom she would make a connection when they needed it the most. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 6th (on what would have been her 66th birthday celebrated with her twin brother) at 3:00 p.m. at First Church of God 245 West High Street, Middletown, PA 17057. Masks are required and social distancing measures will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 245 West High St. Middletown.
