Ronald J. Schwartz
June 26, 1964 — April 30, 2022
Ronald J. Schwartz, 57, of Jenkins Township, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born in Sugar Notch to the late Bernadine (Zinga) Schwartz Zerillo and the late Frank T. Schwartz.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Vito "Bill" Zerillo and his brother Frank T. Schwartz Jr.
Graduating from GAR High School in 1983, he was later employed by Gatorade/PepsiCo for 23 years.
Ron loved to hunt, fish, and especially loved to spend time with his family vacationing at Lake Wallenpaupack.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Sandra (Russo) Slater Schwartz, children, Julia "Jade" Slater and spouse
Tori Candrilli, Ronald J. Schwartz Jr and his partner Ashleigh Guthrie, Emily Schwartz and spouse Tyler
Vandermark, and grandchildren Autumn Vandermark and Ethan Vandermark.
Ron is also survived by maternal grandmother Victoria Zinga, sister Joyce Schwartz Janosky and
spouse William Janosky Sr, brother Kris Schwartz, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
