Romaine Joyce Scioscia

It is with great sadness that the family of Romaine J. Kachmar Scioscia, of Swoyersville, announce her sudden passing at her home on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born in Pringle, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella Bedisky. Romaine was a graduate of Larksville High School, Class of 1960.

Romaine is survived by her children: Nita A. Kachmar and Kevin J. Kachmar, children of the late John Kachmar, of Larksville; and son, Paul M. Scioscia Jr., his wife Betty and two grandchildren, Ethan and Bryden Scioscia, of Dallas, Pa., from her second marriage.

Spending time with her grandchildren and pets is what she enjoyed most.

At the deceased's request, a private cremation and burial will be held.
