Robert was employed with Hulsizer Chevrolet in Montgomery, where he retired after twenty-seven years in July 2021. He was very civic minded and involved in his community. He was a volunteer firefighter in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, he refereed and coached sports, judged Odyssey of the Mind, and was involved with the Cub Scouts. A long-time member of the Trout Unlimited, Inc., he held the position of President several times; he loved being involved helping youngsters learn how to fish and tie flies. Speaking of fly tying, that was one of his favorite hobbies. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, photography, and was an all around sportsman. He was a sports fanatic of all kinds, but he loved the Eagles!
