Richard A. "Rick" Moses

Richard A. “Rick” Moses, 73, Altoona, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late David W. and Eleanor L. (Feister) Moses. He married Naomi Michael in 1966.
Surviving are children: Dawn Misitano of Hollidaysburg, Richard and wife, Nicole (Testa) Moses, of San Francisco, Calif., and Danielle Himes of New Kensington; four grandchildren: Nicolas, Victoria and Alexandra Misitano and Falon Himes; a sister, Diane K. Ansley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother David W. Moses Jr.
Rick was a 1962 graduate of Altoona High School, and he served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-68.
He was an avid fan of Penn State football and had a passion for books, music and movies.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Altoona Lighthouse Men’s Fellowship Hall, where a wake will follow.
