Renee Jean Strayer

Renee Jean (Smith) Strayer, age 76 of Pine Grove, PA, was born August 24th 1949 and ascended into heavenly glory on August 17th 2026. Renee will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Immediate family mourning this great loss are her fiancé Charles Dickason IV, her daughter Kimberly Ritter (husband Philip Ritter II), her sons Daniel Strayer, James Strayer III (wife Trisha Strayer), and her grand children Brittney McBride (husband Paul McBride), Caleb Ritter, Sarah Gorman (husband Anthony Gorman), Harper Strayer, Grayson Strayer, her two brothers Randy Smith (wife Jeanette) and James Smith "JW" (wife Melissa), and her sister-in-law Margaret Andrews.

Many were embraced as family by Renee. Her fiancé's family including Melissa Dickason, Charles Dickason V (wife Nicole and son Charles VI), Noel Alvarez (husband Brandon and daughter Olivia), Alison Shellenburger (husband Nolan, daughters Paisley and Ellie).

Renee also welcomed into her family fold an exchange student Alberto Kresse (TiTi), Deo Chapagai and his family, Erica Painter (daughter Jordyn and son Talon). There were so many blessed by her loving acceptance and her big heart.

During her lifetime she had worked various jobs in the healthcare field as well as the post office. Renee loved spending time with her family, her animals, birds, gardening (inside and outside), canning, reading, crafting, and playing cards. She loved the Lord and put her trust in Him. She walked thru life without fear, knowing He was with her and she was not alone. Renee will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, and will always be in our hearts.

A celebration of life service will be held later this year.
