Raymond Herr

Raymond A Herr Jr, born in Evansville, IN, Sept 26 1944, passed away peacefully at Cedar Crest Hospital, Allentown, PA. He loved to collect untouched and uncirculated currency and had a passion for cars. He enjoyed his dog Rose very much.

Raymond graduated high school and entered the airforce where he lived in Anchorage, Al, Germany, and Mississippi. He used to speak of his tour to Libya and Egypt. After service he was an electronic technician for GenRad (General Radio) in Concord Massachusetts for 28 years before the business closed.

Ray attended AA meetings for 30+ years and enjoyed making coffee and helping others. The last few years Parkinsons and Neuropathy made getting around difficult. He moved in to PA from Fitchburg, MA in 2022 with his daughter Pauline.

He is survived by daughter Pauline Morgalo (PA); son Michael Herr (NH); Pauline's two boys, Sean and Ryan LaLiberty; Sean's two children, Connor and Arya; Ryan's two children, Logan and Aspen; Michael's two children, Rylee and Tristan, and his older sister Judith Bonk (MA).

Raymond did not wish to have any services. Donations can be sent to Pauline Morgalo, 106 Walnut Street, Tuscarora PA.
