Paul Kőhalmi, age 69, husband of the late Susanne J. (Donko) Kőhalmi and significant other of Maria Lengyel, passed away on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, in Upper Pottsgrove, PA. Born on December 20, 1953, in Budapest, Hungary, he was the son of the late János Kőhalmi and the late Judit (Sonkoly) Kőhalmi. Mr. Kőhalmi immigrated to the United States in 1974. He was a Master Plumber and a General Contractor by trade. He was most known for his generosity. He would give anyone, even a stranger, the shirt off his back, his last dollar or his last morsal of food. He was most passionate about, and a proud and dedicated member of, the Philadelphia and Vicinity Hungarian Sports Club, Inc., (Magyar Tanya). He served his Hungarian community faithfully for over 40 years by organizing soccer tournaments, volunteering his plumbing services, among other things, and serving on the board. He was the heart and soul of the Magyar Tanya. His passing leaves an unfillable void. His Magyar Tanya family members are heartbroken with his passing. Mr. Kőhalmi is survived by two children, Adina J. Kőhalmi, wife of Nicholas Sweetak of Upper Pottsgrove, PA, and Zsolt Kőhalmi, husband of Rebecca (Burkhart) Kőhalmi, of Barto, PA; a step son, Laszlo Bryant, and three grandchildren, Aleksandra Sweetak, Alynza Bryant, and Andras Bryant; two brothers István Kőhalmi, husband of Mária (Gabrieli) Kőhalmi, and János Kőhalmi, husband of Anna (Pálinkás) Kőhalmi; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kőhalmi was preceded in death by one sister, Éva Judit Kőhalmi, and one brother, Gyula Kőhalmi, husband of Éva (Coneff) Kőhalmi.
