Mason Scott Childs

Mason Scott Childs, 75, passed away on February 9, 2023 at his residence. He was born on February 26, 1947 in Williamsport, PA. Mason was the son of Edward and Mary Childs. Mason enjoyed hunting fishing, camping, detailing cars, spending time with his grandchildren, watching Western movies, and long car rides on mountain roads. Mason married Kay English on August 15, 1986.
Mason is survived by his wife Kay Childs, three sons; Chad Haight (Corinne), Dana Haight, and Travis Haight (Brandi), six grandchildren; Paige, Natalie, Abigail, Isaiah, Gauge, and Mr. Linkin (he has been his life, heart & soul along with all of the other grandkids). He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, special cousin Doug, and lifelong best friend Steve.
There will be no funeral or services for Mason. There will be a memorial dinner scheduled at a later date for family and friends. Any memorial donations can be made in Mason's name to Citizens Hose Company of Jersey Shore at 1212 Locust Street, Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
