Marie Slusser

Marie Cecile Slusser (Heroux) born January 8, 1941 in Pawtucket, RI. She is predeceased by her Father Victor Heroux Sr and Mother Alice Heroux (Dubois); sisters: Teresa Vallier and Doris Merritt; brothers: Albert Heroux, Leo Heroux, Henry Heroux; She is survived by her brothers: Gilbert Heroux, Victor Heroux Jr; Children: Erick J. Heroux, William E. Strickland, Colleen Krispin, Cynthia Dainty, John Slusser, Carrie Timlin; six grandchildren; She was divorced, with one deceased son, Robert J Miller. She received her GED in 1985, she took some courses at Misericordia University, Dallas, PA (formerly College Misericordia). Her main role was a mother of seven, she also worked in child care, house cleaning, a disabled persons home assistant, a laundry worker at Shadowbrook Hotel and was a 4- H leader for a few years. The family opted for cremation, so her memorial will be in spring 2026. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
