Kevin Joseph Hartz

Kevin Joseph Hartz, Sr., age 52, of Ashland, passed away November 29th, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Harrison Hartz. He is survived by his mother, Joann Cress of Ashland; his daughter, Vanessa of New Jersey, sons Kevin Jr. & Matthew of Mechanicsburg; brothers Brian, Eric, Kurt, Michael, and a sister, Angela, all of Ashland; ten grandchildren, Isaiah, Grayson, Madison, Natalee, Matthew Jr., Bentley, Jaelynn, Kyler, Chloe, & Karsyn; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kevin had the gift of being able to make everyone around him laugh; whether it was a story he was telling or his quick-wit; his sense of humor is what drew people to him.

He enjoyed playing cards and shooting dice, and watching his Bengals & Flyers on TV. He also loved the outdoors and couldn’t wait for fishing season every year.

While his time here on Earth was short, he left an imprint on the hearts of everyone he knew, that will last a lifetime.
