Joseph S (Traino) Traino

Joseph S Traino 75, of Lock Haven, PA (formerly Middletown, PA) passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Thursday, December 29, 2021 at UPMC Lock Haven.  He was born on September 23, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph F and mother, Romaine E (Hess) Traino.  He is survived by 3 children, Joseph Traino, Hamburg, Jennifer Manning and husband Randy, Middletown, Jerry Traino and wife Kelly, Folly Beach, SC and 2 sisters Mary Ann Bittinger, Dauphin and Deanna Berrier, Harrisburg along with 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  Joe graduated from Lower Dauphin High School, class of 1966 and then continued into his familys carpet business until 2001 and most recently retired as a truck driver a few years later.  After retirement, Joe spent all his time at his family cabin in Lycoming County, which he loved before moving into Fulmers Personal Care Home.  His many interests most of his life included spending time at his cabin, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, boating, riding motorcycle and many other outdoor activities but mostly spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his loving family and all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
