Joseph Kenneth McIntyre

Joseph Kenneth McIntyre passed peacefully on May 2, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1937 in Chester, PA where he lived until 1962 before moving to Chester County. He graduated from Chester High School and Drexel University with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. He went on to get his Professional Engineers License. He met the love of his life, Shirley, in high school. They married in 1958 and had 64 wonderful years together at the time of her passing. He was Superman to his 3 children: Scott (Lynn), Lee McCarthy (Bob), and Dan (deceased); his 5 grandchildren: Andy, Michael (Erin), Danine, Casey and Kyle and his 2 great grandchildren: Leo and Zoe. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Bob (Sandy) and 2 nieces, Sherry and Susan. With his business partner he owned a successful home building company for over 40 years. He loved building things, solving problems, traveling and spending time with his pets and family. At Ken's request there will be no services.
