Jane A. (Thomas) Padden

Jane A. Padden, 55, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 29, 1960, she was the daughter of Agnes Jane (Gregory) Thomas, Kingston, and the late James R. Thomas. She was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and Wilkes College. She was formerly employed as a registered nurse at St. Agnes Hospital, Philadelphia, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp., and Mountain City Nursing Home, Hazelton. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Thomas J. Padden; daughters, Tabitha Padden, Amanda Norvell and Samantha Scholten; 9 grandchildren and her pets, Verdell and Daisy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation Specialist of Pennsylvania, Inc.
