Harry Edward Mowery, 90, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, just four days shy of his 91st birthday. Born in Mechanicsburg on March 16, 1934, Harry was a proud graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, Class of 1952.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Harry served his country honorably during the Korean War. He often spoke of his time as a Marine with deep pride and gratitude. Harry was a devoted volunteer for the Linglestown Colts for 40 years, serving in numerous positions such as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Coach  & organizing and maintaining the concession stand — and leaving a lasting impact on the community he loved so dearly.

Harry was the loving husband of the late Gloria Patricia “Pat” Mowery. Together, they shared 45 wonderful years of marriage, building a beautiful family rooted in love and devotion. Family meant everything to Harry, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile with those he cared for.

He is survived by his five children: Terry Anderson of Steelton, PA; Kathy Keifer (the late Rick) of Harrisburg, PA; Patrick Shawn Mowery of Halifax, PA; Michael Mowery of Steelton, PA; and Jason Eberts of Harrisburg, PA.
