Donna Lee (Ambrow) Strzelec

Donna Lee (Ambrow) Strzelec, 75, passed away peacefully as she was surrounded by family on May 26, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri to Betty and Donald Ambrow. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and Nana.

She received her education from Fairview High School (1966) and the University of Missouri (1970) and resided in Albrightsville, PA for the last 22 years. She is survived by her husband Dale, daughter and son-in-law Rebecca Strzelec and Adam Vorlicek, their children Stella and Holden, son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Jennifer Strzelec, and their children Hailey, Ava, and Charlotte, and her sisters Deborah Walters and Dana Tocyzlowski.

She enjoyed reading and decorating for the holidays (her husband would also say collecting shoes and clothes) but her greatest love was spoiling her family. She will always be remembered as someone who took immense pride in her children and grandchildren, and her love and kindness left an indelible mark on all those who were lucky enough to know her. Even as she battled cancer for the third time, she never lost her candor or sense of humor, joking and making friends with the nurses and doctors who were tasked with her care.
