Donald Roy Long

Donald R. Long, 75, of Mauch Chunk Rd., Palmerton, passed away on Thursday, Dec.19, 2024 in his home.

He was the husband of Kathy (Recker) Long. They celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on July 12th.

Born in Palmerton, Don was a 1967 graduate of the Palmerton Area High School. Don was a die hard sports fan of the Flyers and Raiders. Don loved spending of time with his his beloved wife and their fur-baby Ash and his family. Don was a member of the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club and the Palmerton VFW. Don loved life to his fullest.

Don was an Mechanic for Over 35 years. Don was born On December 11, 1949 in Palmerton, Pa.

Don is survived by his loving wife Kathy, fur-baby Ash, Mother in law Barbara Recker, Daughter Christine Coulson, Son Brandon Coulson, all of Pennsylvania, Son Donald Long Jr. and his wife Andrea of Kentucky, a grandson, Dade Long of Pennsylvania, a niece and nephews, a brother in law Gary Recker and his companion, Dawn Jayne of Pennsylvania.
