David John Sirkot

David Sirkot Sr., 73, of Shenandoah Heights passed away Friday morning February 28th, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Allentown Cedar Crest.

Born in Hazleton, on June 15th, 1951, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Bobeck) Sirkot. Before he retired, he was a welder at Jeddo Coal Company for more than 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Mae Sirkot and his brother John Sirkot III. Surviving are his three children, David Sirkot Jr., Hazleton; Thom Sirkot, New Jersey; Tanya Neidlinger and husband Matthew, Shenandoah Heights; Three grandchildren, Colin Neidlinger, Dylan Neidlinger and Ellie Neidlinger; in-laws Pam and Jim Eisenman, Mahanoy City; many nieces and nephews; and brother Mark Sirkot and wife Alma, Weatherly.

Hobbies included having coffee in the morning while playing Free Cell on his computer, watching his Pittsburgh Steelers play every NFL Season, watching the Weather Channel and local news every evening and spending time with his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held on June 15th, 2025 for what would have been his 74th birthday.
