Connie Sue (Eckman) Lombardi

Connie Sue Eckman Lombardi, 58 of Lancaster, born Nov 23, 1959, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

Connie graduated from Penn Manor HS and went on to Reading Community College earning a degree in social work. She also earned her certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) working in this field for many years in Harrisburg.

Connie enjoyed shopping at thrift stores for the “special deal” or little treasures for her family and

friends. In addition, she enjoyed walking, reading and watching TV particularly “The Waltons” and “Law

& Order.” Connie was blessed by the Good Lord for her beautiful smile and sense of humor, always

lighting up a room.

Connie is survived by her Father, Jay Eckman (Lancaster), Mother, Joan Eckman (Quarryville), and

Brothers, Tim Eckman (Strasburg) and Robert Eckman (Lancaster). Preceding her in death were brothers,

Joseph and Douglas Eckman. In addition, she will be missed by the love of her life, fiancé Matt Banks

(Harrisburg), and many friends and extended family. At the request of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
